Ann and Seth chose the Alberta Legislature, where Seth proposed this August, for their engagement photo shoot.

It was an overcast, damp day — the sky bathing these two, and the beautiful location, with soft, even, atmospheric light. Ann brought a change of shoes and I brought a blanket for sitting on the damp grass.

I could not have asked for a sweeter couple, or more perfect conditions.

Ann and Seth even dressed complimentary, Anns dress echoed the pink Alberta roses in the garden and Seths blue shirt was perfect with the more modern areas of the Legislature.

It was an absolute pleasure to work with these two lovely people, and I couldn’t be happier to be their wedding photographer.
