Real talk, I had never heard of the Tales Storytelling Festival before my friend invited me to a night of spooky stories and liquor tasting. Ultimately, I went along as a volunteer photographer and was happy to turn out on Sunday to get a few extra snaps as well. At both events I attended I had an excellent time, learned a lot, and really enjoyed the experience. I’m still astounded by the Teller’s abilities to get up on stage and speak so eloquently! I would be up there with flashcards shaking like a leaf. They’re performers and artists, but they’re really doing something unique.
